The Story.

Radiosonic: The concept for this came to me right after I finished recording my rendition of 'Atmosphere', but as far as I can recall, I've always been drawn to Ian's moves. They appear out of this world to me, which is good. What if I could find all of Ian's dancing videos, compile them, and even attempt to improve or reinvent them? I asked Natalie Dinges because I needed a really skilled dancer. She is a superb actress, performer, and choreographer. She quickly replied 'yes', but the first thing she ever questioned was how I could be Ian Curtis with my long hair.

Fuck it! We gotta cut it all! And that's how it all started.

We rented some space in the royal family's home in Cracow, Poland, to create the right 'atmosphere'. Every moment in the video was shot there. We initially found that to be a strange idea, but as the scenes progressed, it began to make sense.

As we started filming, Natalie's hair remained uncut; however, after shaving off half of it, we continued until there was no more hair left on her head.

Natalie put a lot of effort into being ready for this task, and she masterfully conjures up a memory of Ian.

This video is a dedication to Ian's artistic aesthetics and the rest of the Joy Division crew from me because they helped to establish who I am as an artist.

Sleep well, Ian.

The video will be made available on YouTube and other platforms on April 15th, 2023 at 7 p.m. GMT.
